Property Accountant Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Salary: A$120,000 – A$130,000 per annum. Employment type: Contract. Seniority level: Entry level. Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance. Key Responsibilities Prepare month‑end reporting, including prepayments, accruals, IFRS adjustments, amortisation, outgoings reconciliation, etc. Prepare GL reconciliations. Reconcile statutory trust accounts monthly. Monthly P&L variance commentary and assist the Asset and Property team to operate within the budget/forecast. Assist the Asset and Property team in tracking capital expenditure. Prepare monthly owner remittance & PM Fee forecast/washup for the assigned portfolio. Assist in payment/vendor checks when required. Contribute to budget preparation, annual trust/property outgoings audits, and compliance (GS007, trust accounting, internal controls etc). Assist with team projects as required and take responsibility and ownership for deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. CA /CPA qualified. Essential Requirements 2+ years’ experience in commercial property accounting. Intermediate or above proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Confidence and ability to work under pressure. Self‑motivated, with the ability to self‑manage and problem‑solve. Attention to detail and strong record‑keeping skills. Professional, results‑driven, strong work ethic with high integrity. Solid working knowledge of accounting standards. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Desirable Requirements Experience of Yardi Voyager.
