About the Role We’re on the hunt for a take-charge, detail-loving scheduling legend who can keep our projects and technicians running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for coordinating jobs, managing bookings, and making sure everything (and everyone) is in the right place at the right time. This is an assistant role to our very busy Scheduler, so you’ll have plenty of support and training to get up to speed – plus a friendly, down-to-earth team who genuinely care about what they do. Here’s what you’ll be doing day to day: Scheduling technicians efficiently across residential and commercial jobs Receiving and managing booking requests through Simpro Liaising with builders, contractors, site supervisors, trades, and suppliers Preparing job data, work orders, and coordinating materials and deliveries Monitoring stock levels of consumables and materials Providing top-notch customer service via phone and email Handling general admin tasks – calls, emails, correspondence, document control, and filing Assisting the Scheduler and Operations Manager with day-to-day admin and planning Scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and keeping everything organised Reviewing plans and project schedules to support site coordination About You You’re the kind of person who loves ticking things off your to-do list, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in staying one step ahead. Ideally, you’ll bring: 1-2 years’ experience in scheduling, coordination, or mobilisation (HVAC or trades industry experience a big plus) Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Great customer service and relationship-building abilities Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office & internet-based applications) Experience using Simpro (bonus points if you have) A sharp eye for detail and strong organisational skills The ability to juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat A team mindset – you’re supportive, positive, and love helping things run smoothly This role could also suit an ex-HVAC tech who’s ready to step off the tools but stay in the industry Why You’ll Love Working With Us At Slater Air, you’re not just another employee — you’re part of the family.
