ROLE STATEMENT The School Administration Assistant is to provide extensive administrative support to the Coordinator of School Administration (CoSA), concentrating primarily on managing the organisation, operation and timetabling of examinations, including internal and external testing, HSC, and NAPLAN for Junior and Secondary School. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of assessment processes, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the academic and wellbeing needs of students. KEY REQUIREMENTS Committed Christian of a reformed evangelical persuasion actively involved in the life of your local church. Professional, positive, pro‑active manner with a focused work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude. Appropriate experience or administration qualifications, e.g., Cert IV in Business Administration or equivalent. Strong administrative skills, high attention to detail, time management, organisation and project management skills, including an ability to manage competing deadlines and solve problems, showing flexibility and adaptability. Strong relationship and communication skills that establish and maintain clear interpersonal relationships within all areas of the school – teachers, students, parents. Demonstrated ability to gain an in‑depth working knowledge of programs and applications, such as Edumate (student management system), advanced Microsoft Office suite and applications. Committed to innovation and finding ways to enhance efficiency and optimise processes including using technology. Ability to model Christian understanding through empathy, compassion, humility, grace and integrity, especially in conflict resolution situations. GENERAL DUTIES Manage the organisation, operation and timetabling of examinations, including internal and external testing, HSC and NAPLAN for Junior and Secondary School. Liaise with Heads of Faculty and Learning Support Coordinator to manage and order external exam papers (e.g. Trial HSC) and the legal requirements of School Administration for NESA e.g. storage of exams. Manage and organise the exam supervision roster. Provide the communication of exam schedules to teachers and students. Manage and organise catch‑up examinations for secondary students. Assist the Curriculum Administrators with processing Illness and Misadventure Applications. If required, support the post‑examination administration needs such as academic report checking. Support the CoSA with the data entry around class list changes ensuring these are accurate and changes made in a timely manner. Support the CoSA with administrative assistance, as required. Proactively identify how administrative functions can be streamlined and strengthened, especially where existing systems can be enhanced. Undertake other tasks as specified by the Deputy Principal or Principal, as required from time to time.
