Job Title Data Business Analyst Location Sydney Permanent Role. Job Description Must Have 3+ years of Business Analysis experience or working in an analytical role. Proven experience delivering small to medium projects across the full SDLC — from ideation through execution and embedment into BAU. Solid understanding of business analysis fundamentals and methodologies. Strong communication, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills; able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all seniority levels. Demonstrated ability to use business process modelling and system design languages such as BPMN and UML. Thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Capable of working independently as well as within a team. Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail. Effective problem-solving skills, with adaptability and openness to change in dynamic environments. Nice to Have Background in financial services, with industry knowledge gained through experience. Comfortable working within a matrix structure. Exposure to Agile, Lean, and Waterfall project methodologies. Experience working within Product teams. Familiarity with Change Management and influencing user adoption/behavior. Proficiency with process modelling tools such as MS Visio, Lucid Charts, Enterprise Architect, or similar. Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA and Confluence).
