Join to apply for the ESTIMATOR role at CivilandScape . CivilandScape has recently created an opening for an experienced and qualified landscape and civil works estimator. The successful candidate will work from our Rozelle Head Office and will be involved in a diverse range of projects—from high‑end residential to high‑rise commercial developments. Prerequisites Industry knowledge and experience in construction, civil, and landscaping estimation (minimum 2 years full‑time). Relevant tertiary education and qualification. Familiarity with construction, civil, and landscape industry standards and methodologies. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong written and computing skills. Current White Card (New South Wales). The Role Present well in attire and manner when liaising with clients and the public. Operate efficiently, diligently, and both independently and in a team. Seek a long‑term stable working environment and a chance to expand knowledge and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Managing Director, General Manager, and Project Manager. Search, track, monitor, and maintain tenders, including tender requests, live tenders, expressions of interest, and project prospects. Review, interpret, and analyse technical drawings, scope of works, specifications, and related documents. Complete detailed plan take‑offs, bills of quantities, and project cost estimates. Identify and illustrate project requests for information, clarification, risk analysis, inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions. Prepare detailed tender submissions for management review sign‑off. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders—clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Monitor and negotiate supplier agreements and pricing to maintain competitive rates. Additional Responsibilities Build preferred supplier and subcontractor lists in conjunction with the Project Team. Monitor and analyse market pricing and client feedback to gauge company competitiveness. Assist in market analysis and identify opportunities for new work and additional cash flow. Prepare statistical reporting against company KPIs. Support the General Manager in developing company processes and procedures within the department. Role Offer Working hours: 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday (5‑day week). Annual salary based on experience.
