Opportunity for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a national infrastructure and technology group. A 12-month parental leave role advising on corporate, commercial, property, and regulatory issues, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders. THE COMPANY A leading infrastructure provider with an extensive asset portfolio across Australia. THE ROLE 12-month contract role Provide practical advice on corporate and commercial matters, including service agreements, customer contracts, acquisitions, and property arrangements. Draft, review, and negotiate access, leasing, licensing, and service delivery agreements. Lead transactional work (due diligence, documentation, execution, integration). Advise on regulatory issues across competition, environmental, planning, and WHS laws. Liaise with government bodies, support governance and financing matters. Manage external counsel, disputes, and drive improvements in contracting and risk processes. ABOUT YOU You are a seasoned commercial lawyer with strong transactional skills and the ability to deliver clear, pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders. Australian practising certificate and relevant tertiary qualifications. 7+ years PQE, ideally from a reputable firm / in-house environment. Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills. Experience in commercial property and/or corporate transactions (including M&A). Dispute resolution and external counsel management experience. Able to simplify complex issues and work autonomously in a fast-paced setting. ON OFFER Hybrid working flexibility.
