Printing Industry - Folding Machine / Guillotine Operator Marvel Bookbinding and Printfinishing Pty Ltd – Heidelberg West VIC Marvel is Australia's premier bookbinding, finishing house We are looking for a skilled Folder Operator / Guillotine Operator to join our busy print finishing team. This role is suited to someone with 3-5 years of hands‑on experience operating commercial folding machines, specifically MBO or Stahl folders and or Polar Guillotine's. About the Role: You will be responsible for: Setting up and operating MBO and Stahl folding machines and Polar Guillotines to complete a variety of Guillotining & folding jobs, including signature folding for bookbinding and general finishing work. Reading and following detailed job tickets and specifications. Performing regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. Carrying out minor maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines running smoothly. Working efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. We are located in West Heidelberg , Victoria and the hours are 6am to 2pm - Mon to Fri with plenty of overtime available. What we are looking for: Minimum 3 years experience on MBO or Stahl folders and or Polar Guillotine. Applicants must have experience with either MBO or Stahl folders or and with Polar Guillotine experience. Valid Australian work visa or appropriate work rights are required for this position. Solid understanding of folding processes and bookbinding requirements. Solid understanding of Guillotining requirements. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and a focus on high-quality results. Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator. Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
