Construction Project Manager (LSG.LID.CPM.R.VIC) Ravenhall, Melbourne, Australia Salary: AUD 80,000 – AUD 80,000 per annum About The Client The Trustee for Lecky Road Officer Unit Trust is a leading construction and development entity focused on delivering high‑quality residential and commercial projects across Victoria. The Role This full‑time position involves assisting with and overseeing elements of construction planning, coordination and execution under the direction of senior management. You will help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards of quality, safety and compliance. The Responsibilities Coordinating and liaising with the design team, project team, labour resources and other stakeholders from initial site set‑up to completion. Accurately reading and interpreting project plans and technical specifications. Coordinating and arranging building inspections by local authorities and other relevant professionals. Managing the planning, organization, direction and coordination of civil engineering and construction projects. Overseeing allocation and management of physical and human resources throughout the construction process (registration or licensing required). Coordinating liaison with building owners, property developers and contractors involved in the projects. Record keeping to ensure operation and implementation of work programs, effective cost control and efficient running of the project. Preparing tenders, bids and related paperwork, recording and filing as required. Coordinating contractor sourcing, construction material procurement, regulation compliance and delivery of materials, plants and equipment. Working closely with architects, engineers and other technical and trades professionals to prepare thorough consultation records and detailed reports. Collaborating with the Risk Manager and other experts to guarantee adherence to building legislation and uphold performance, quality, cost efficiency and safety standards; assisting with town planners and architects on plan submission to local authorities. Recording and reporting project progress regularly and organising ongoing meetings when required. The Requirements Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management. At least 3 years of experience managing end‑to‑end delivery of medium to large‑scale construction projects. At least 3 years of experience in cost control, project scheduling and contract administration. At least 3 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors. At least 3 years of experience managing on‑site WHS compliance and safety systems. At least 3 years of experience developing project methodologies, budgets and delivery frameworks. At least 3 years of experience managing risk, quality assurance and compliance audits in construction environments. Experience liaising with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities. Sound understanding of Australian Building Codes, construction standards and contract law. Strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills. Advanced proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera or equivalent. Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and decision‑making skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines effectively. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various project sites.
