About Us AusGlobal Construction Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing residential and commercial construction company delivering high-quality building projects. Due to expanding project commitments and increasing demand from clients, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee project planning, coordination, and on-site delivery from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities Plan, organise and direct construction projects, ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Interpret architectural drawings, engineering specifications and contract documents to determine project scope, resource requirements and construction methodologies. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site supervisors, tradespeople and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and quality workmanship across all stages of construction. Develop and implement project schedules, procurement plans, construction programs and site management procedures. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers and service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project timelines. Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, addressing delays, variations, technical issues and safety hazards promptly. Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, progress reports and compliance documentation for management and clients. Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure approvals, inspections and compliance requirements are met. Implement and enforce company quality assurance processes, WHS (Work Health & Safety) standards and environmental management procedures on all sites. Lead and mentor construction teams, conducting performance evaluations, providing guidance and supporting continuous operational improvement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management within residential or commercial building sectors. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes and Australian WHS regulations. Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors and multi-trade project workflows. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to solve on-site technical challenges and manage several concurrent projects. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Aconex or similar). Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse site teams.
