About the Role Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and efficient payroll services for a large workforce in the aged care industry. You will process end‑to‑end payroll for staff covered by multiple EBAs and awards. Key Responsibilities End‑to‑end payroll processing for a large workforce. Manage new starters, terminations, variations, and retrospective adjustments. Process timesheets and leave requests in accordance with multiple EBAs, awards, and payroll procedures. Review and verify payroll data, resolve exceptions, and ensure database integrity. Administer superannuation, taxation, and other statutory obligations. Handle escalated payroll queries with professionalism and accuracy. Assist with payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting. Mentor and support less experienced payroll staff. Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives. Skills & Experience 3+ years of end‑to‑end payroll experience in a medium‑to‑large organization. Strong understanding of EBAs, awards, and payroll compliance requirements. Experience working in a large team environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Proactive customer‑service approach. Excellent attention to detail, numeracy skills, and accuracy under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self‑starter with a proactive and solutions‑focused approach. Experience with Chris21 and Humanforce highly desirable.
