Join to apply for the Senior Psychologist role at Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service As the Senior Psychologist you will deliver high level clinical/health psychology services as a member of a hospital-based multi‑disciplinary team, providing assessment, diagnosis and treatment of emotional, behavioural and cognitive difficulties that are occurring in the context of acute and chronic medical illnesses or injuries. About The Team The QCH Psychology Team provides clinical, health and neuropsychology services to patients of QCH to support their psychological wellbeing in the context of their medical condition. That is, where psychological distress or cognitive skills impact a medical condition or treatment or, where a medical condition, injury, illness, or treatment is causing psychological distress (emotional or cognitive). About The Role In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework, the Queensland Public Service, and the CHQ values. Responsibilities Deliver high‑level clinical services in accordance with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Code of Ethics and the practice guidelines of the Psychology Board of Australia. Provision of high‑level clinical health psychology services including assessment, treatment and case management to children and young people, delivered within a family‑centred approach.
