Senior Clinical Psychologist North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) invites applications for the role of Senior Clinical Psychologist. The position offers Permanent Full‑Time, Part‑Time and Fixed‑Term appointments with potential for extension. Locations & FTE 0.4FTE at Osborne Park Older Adult Mental Health Service 1FTE at Selby Older Adult Mental Health Service Role Overview Provide clinical psychological services to inpatients and community patients of the Older Adult Mental Health Service. Deliver consultation, case coordination, education and supervision in a multidisciplinary setting while ensuring compliance with the Psychology Board of Australia and NMHS policies. Responsibilities Deliver assessment, diagnosis and treatment for complex mental health/psychological disorders. Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members. Coordinate and manage cases, provide education to staff and patients. Supervise junior psychologists and student clinicians. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Adhere to legal and ethical standards of psychological practice. Qualifications & Experience Registered psychologist with a valid license in Australia. Significant experience working with older adults and complex mental health conditions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and supervisory skills. Eligibility Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for permanent positions. Fixed‑term appointments require evidence of entitlement to live and work in Australia for the contract period. Other Conditions Current "C" or "C.A." class driver’s licence. Successful completion of criminal records and integrity checks; possible working‑with‑children check and pre‑employment health assessment. Benefits Supportive team environment.
