Senior Clinical Psychologist – Primary Mental Health Team (PMHT) – Full Time Fixed Term (Parental Leave Position until November 2026) – Heidelberg, Victoria About the role As the Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will support individuals with complex emotional, behavioural and mental health challenges who present with low acute risk. You will collaborate closely with local general practitioners (GPs), the North East Triage Service, and the Austin Health Emergency Department to deliver targeted mental health interventions, and you may also provide brief individual counselling and family work. Responsibilities Triage referrals received from local GPs. Provide comprehensive mental health assessments. Write reports outlining treatment and support options for ongoing treatment teams. Engage with local mental health providers, psychosocial support services, and GPs. Qualifications Minimum five years professional experience as a Psychologist Grade 2 (or equivalent). Registered psychologist with a specialist endorsement in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or Forensic Psychology, or currently working towards one. Current Victorian driver's licence and ability to drive a work vehicle. Benefits Base salary plus generous salary packaging, superannuation and five weeks annual leave.
