Executive Manager, Risk in Change

What’s the role? We’re looking for an Executive Manager to lead risk in change activities across the Financial Markets Transformation Portfolio. You’ll work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and risk partners to identify and manage delivered risks, support strategic execution, and embed a strong risk culture. This role covers initiatives such as Front Office Simplification, Product System upgrades, Platforms & Data, and Regulatory/Remediation programs. You’ll operate autonomously, lead risk workshops, and represent Risk in Change in senior forums. This is a Permanent full-time role based in Sydney with flexible working arrangements available (3 days in the office). Responsibilities Lead risk assessments across Financial Markets transformation projects. Drive proactive risk management and represent Risk in Change in senior forums. Lead risk workshops and embed risk culture within transformation initiatives. Work closely with project teams and business stakeholders to ensure risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated. What do I need? We’re after someone with deep risk expertise and strong market knowledge, who thrives in complex change environments. Extensive experience in risk advice or the first line of risk. Strong understanding of change execution standards (e.g. TDS). Experience in financial markets and transformation programs. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
