Overview National Business Development Manager Vendito Consulting Group Melbourne VIC New Business Development (Sales) Full time Exciting Opportunity: National Business Development Manager – Health & Seniors Living - Location: Sydney or Melbourne preferred - Salary Package: Up to $130k + $20k car allowance + $40k bonus (Base $150k) Position Summary: Join a leading national player in the building materials sector as a National Business Development Manager. This pivotal role is responsible for driving new business and market development, identifying strategic opportunities to enhance market presence, and developing strong relationships with end-users / providers / operators key decision-makers at the senior and executive level of Healthcare. A&D and Trade experience both would be great in this sector to. Why This Role is Exciting: Leadrship: Take charge of a segment on a national scope Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with trade, architecture & design, and marketing teams to pursue national opportunities and drive market development initiatives. Strategic Engagement: Leverage your expertise to present innovative solutions, influence decision-makers, and make a meaningful impact in the health and aged care sector. Key Responsibilities New business and growth within the health and seniors living segment. Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives nationwide. Build and maintain relationships with end-users, decision-makers, and industry bodies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with corporate goals. Achieve budgeted sales and margin targets while managing pricing guidelines. Scope of Responsibility: Oversee the health and seniors living segment revenue, providing support and guidance to the frontline sales team. Engage internal stakeholders to effectively communicate and energize the implementation of corporate strategies. Sales and Ownership (70%): Directly drive new business and strategic initiatives. Regularly report on segment performance and manage the sales pipeline. Provide project consultation and represent the company at industry events. Strategic Planning and Market Development (30%): Develop an annual strategic plan outlining sales, marketing, and product development initiatives. Identify new client engagement opportunities and support sustainability initiatives. Key attributes include: Business Development Expertise: A proven track record in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities. Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with corporate goals. Collaborative Leader: Experience in working cross-functionally with trade, architecture & design, and marketing teams.
