School Crossing Supervisor – The Junction Public School – Merewether Join to apply for the School Crossing Supervisor role at Bendigo Advertiser. Overview The Junction Public School requires a part‑time School Crossing Supervisor to supervise school crossing zones during the school day. You will provide safety supervision and community engagement to protect children, teachers and motorists. Responsibilities Supervise the school zone from 8:10 – 9:10 AM and 2:30 – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Conduct safety checks and communicate with parents, teachers and local authorities. Maintain accurate records of crossing supervision hours and incidents. Work in all weather conditions and demonstrate effective communication skills. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years. Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to community safety. Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check, Police Check, Health Assessment and reference checks. Previous experience supervising road crossings or a community safety role is an advantage. Benefits You will receive an hourly rate, superannuation and holiday pay for Terms 1 to 3.
