Senior Sales Development Representative

Global Head of Talent | Strategic HR Leadership | Driving Growth Through People, Culture & Performance Reports to: Regional Account Director APAC Location: Sydney Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview The Senior Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating new revenue within the higher education sector through consultative digital media sales. The role manages the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching to closing — and requires a proactive, target-driven individual with strong communication skills and commercial acumen. Key Responsibilities Conduct at least 8–10 meetings and 5 pitches per week, maintaining strong conversion rates. Secure a minimum of two card-rate deals per quarter (approx. AUD $100,000 / GBP £50,000). Manage the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and closure. Build a detailed understanding of decision-making processes within universities to improve targeting. Develop and deliver custom proposals for major clients and central decision-makers. Explore new product opportunities, including domestic campaigns or digital platforms. Maintain accurate CRM reporting and contribute to wider sales team goals.
