Receptionist for busy psychology practice Fernandez Psychology is a busy and well established private clinical psychology practice located in Kingsley. The practice has expanded further and as such we are seeking additional admin support. Hours/days negotiable however must be available 8-5.30pm Fridays. Candidates must be available for a minimum of 3-4 days per week. We are looking for an experienced receptionist to be responsible for front desk; and to provide outstanding attention to detail, efficiency & accuracy with a caring and friendly nature. To perform well you must enjoy being busy, have the ability to learn new software and processes, be organised and methodical, have time management skills and not be easily overwhelmed when having to multi‑task. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and word‑processing skills (Excel, Word, Outlook emails). Ability to work alone and in a team? Flexibility to cover for annual leave and sickness? Ability to multitask and work diligently? Experience in Healthcare reception? This long term role includes general reception and administrative tasks (would suit an all‑rounder) including but not limited to: Managing a busy reception and welcoming and greeting patients (enjoying being busy with the ability to remain calm & composed). Liaising with referral sources regarding bookings and general client enquiries, both via phone and by email correspondence. Managing multiple consultants' diaries (team of 10); scheduling appointments and related data entry into practice software. Processing payments, Medicare rebates and billing clients (Experience with Medicare; Mental Health Care Plans preferred). Ensuring that front office runs smoothly and is well‑maintained. Reporting to the Practice Manager. Previous experience in the health‑care industry is very desirable. Must be flexible to cover shifts for sick and annual leave.
