Field Service Engineer – JBT CITRUS We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support our valued customers across Australia, ensuring they stay at the forefront of the industry by maintaining and delivering world‑class service and optimizing advanced systems. The Opportunity As a Field Service Technician you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer support for both installed systems and new installations, growing your skills and making a real difference. Key Responsibilities Work in a supportive team with experienced coworkers at customer sites and in the office, learning machine knowledge. Prepare, execute and report preventative equipment maintenance visits. Attend customer sites to conduct service visits. Troubleshoot production issues at customer site. Complete on‑site evaluations, install machine enhancements, and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specifications. Ensure that the JBT experience for customers matches the JBT promise of superior performance, service, and quality. Troubleshoot and perform break‑fix services on high‑technology food processing equipment. Required Qualifications Trade certified mechanical fitter/machinist/boilermaker. Technical aptitude. Ability to work autonomously and take initiative. Read manufacturer manuals. Parts management skills. Strong communication skills.Strong organizational skills. Willingness to work weekends. Willingness to travel. Nice to Have Food industry background. Process knowledge. Rigging experience. Read P&ID drawings.
