About the Role As our HSE Business Partner, you’ll be the go‑to advisor for practical, people‑focused safety leadership. You’ll coach teams, embed critical risk controls, support incident investigations, and help drive continuous improvement across our operations. This is more than compliance — it’s a role where you’ll shape behaviour, support post‑incident learning, and strengthen the systems that protect our people. What You’ll Drive Safety Leadership Partner with leaders to lift safety capability Influence a positive, proactive safety culture Lead and support WHSE initiatives and committees Conduct visible field safety interactions Risk & Hazard Management Embed critical risk controls into daily work Lead JSAs, risk assessments, and permit processes Maintain risk registers and develop Safe Work Instructions Guide safety‑related change management Incident Response & Learning Lead ICAM‑style investigations Prepare incident reports and lessons‑learnt communications Manage regulatory notifications and follow‑up actions Systems, Audits & Governance Support WHSMS, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems Deliver safety training and coaching Participate in audits and help close out actions Maintain WHS procedures and documentation Reporting & Insights Compile weekly/monthly WHSE reporting Analyse trends and identify improvement opportunities What You’ll Bring 3+ years in WHS/HSE, ideally in high‑risk operations Strong risk assessment and investigation experience Knowledge of WHS legislation, codes, & WHSMS Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Strong communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills Ability to influence outcomes and support behaviour change Advanced Microsoft Office capability Qualifications Diploma in WHS (minimum) ICAM or similar investigation accreditation Tertiary WHS qualifications highly regarded Driver’s licence Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Health Care Provider, Quality Assurance, and General Business Industries: Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage, Maritime Transportation, and Freight and Package Transportation Inclusive Workplace Statement We celebrate difference.
