The Role We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Business Partner to lead the safety function at one of Australia’s largest manufacturing sites. This is a hands‑on leadership role, where you’ll shape safety culture, influence behaviours, and make a tangible impact on the wellbeing of a diverse and dynamic workforce. Key Responsibilities Lead the site safety function as the primary advisor for all health and safety matters. Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify risks and implement practical, high‑impact safety solutions. Conduct risk assessments and investigations, ensuring effective implementation of corrective actions. Design and deliver site‑specific safety programs aligned with national safety strategies. Monitor and report on safety performance, leveraging data and insights to drive continuous improvement. Champion employee engagement through training, toolbox talks, and visible leadership presence on the floor. Coach and mentor frontline leaders to build safety capability and accountability across all levels. Collaborate with national HSE peers to share best practices and contribute to strategic safety initiatives. About You You’re a hands‑on safety professional who leads with empathy, confidence, and credibility. You know how to influence at all levels — from the factory floor to senior management — and thrive in fast‑paced, high‑performing environments. You’ll bring Proven experience within manufacturing, industrial, or FMCG environments. Strong working knowledge of Work Health & Safety legislation, systems, and risk management practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
