Randstad is proud to partner with Better Medical, a leading operator of high quality General Practices across Australia, to find their next exceptional Practice Manager for their clinic based in Devonport. The Role This is not your typical practice manager role. It is a chance to be the daily operational backbone and culture champion of a busy and successful practice which forms part of a national General Practice provider. Working closely with a dedicated team of GPs and Allied Health professionals and leading the cornerstone of the practice - the nurses and support staff, you will drive operational excellence and foster a positive, high performing clinic environment. As part of a national business you will be supported by a corporate team offering expertise in operations, finance, human resources, legal and procurement. The Person The Ideal Candidate Will Be An Accountable, Action-oriented Leader Who Can Inspire Trust And Empathy. While Previous Experience As a Practice Manager Is Not Essential, You Must Have Strong People & Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build a collaborative workplace culture, manage a team and effectively lead and inspire others. Ownership & Accountability: A desire to take full responsibility for daily operations and make key decisions to ensure optimal use of resources. Communication & Confidence: Skills to confidently drive constructive dialogue, facilitate open discussions, and serve as the accessible first point of contact for all staff. Experience: 5+ years' experience in office and general leadership and management. Skills: Demonstrated ability to delegate, problem-solve and manage time effectively. Duties Reporting to the Operations Manager (Tasmania), you will be responsible for a dynamic range of duties, focusing on Leadership, Operations and Finance: Leadership & People Management: Leading the management of the staff across nursing and operational/administrative roles in the clinic. Operational Excellence: Acting as a go to for the General Practitioners and trusted service provider, supporting the clinic to deliver an exceptional standard of care to patients and maintaining ongoing awareness of RACGP Standards for General Practice. Risk Management: Taking on the role of complaints officer, managing incident reporting and escalation and resolving events of business interruption (including occasional after-hours). Financial Oversight: Responsible for reviewing and implementing service-based rosters within the allocated budget, managing computerised billing/receipting and providing statistical and financial reports as required. Accreditation: Responsible for clinic Accreditation, including the self-assessment process and the site visit. This is a fast-paced environment that includes management of administration, and nursing professionals and building stakeholder relationships with GP's.
