Practice Manager – General Practice We are seeking an organised, proactive and people‑centred leader to oversee the daily operations of our busy medical practices and support our clinical and administrative teams. About the Role As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient practice operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of leadership, problem‑solving, and hands‑on coordination in a healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day practice operations and workflows Lead, mentor and support administrative staff Manage rosters, onboarding, and HR documentation Maintain compliance with RACGP standards and regulatory requirements Monitor billing, Medicare claiming, and financial processes Coordinate with GPs, nurses and allied health practitioners Oversee clinical supplies, contractor relationships, and facility management Implement systems that improve efficiency and patient experience Handle patient enquiries, feedback, and escalations professionally About You Experience in a Practice Manager or senior administrative role (medical preferred) A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Practice Manager or senior administrative role is required Previous medical practice experience is mandatory for this position Strong understanding of general practice operations, Medicare and billing Excellent communication and leadership skills High level of organisation, time management and attention to detail Ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients and external partners Confident with practice management software and digital tools Commitment to patient‑centred care and quality improvement Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
