Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Resource Coordinator - NICU The closing date is 08 December 2025 We are looking for a motivated and experienced person to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a Resource Coordinator. You will be working within the NICU as part of a multi professional team. If you are hardworking, conscientious and enjoy being part of a dynamic team then we would love to hear from you. Main duties of the job To coordinate the procurement process, equipment and storeroom management, including responsibility for ordering stock. To be responsible for the coordination of patient facilities to ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment. To be responsible for coordinating maintenance of the NICU environment and equipment. To be responsible for the NICU Assistants. Oversee the NICU Assistant role and coordinate their daily workin To be responsible for own workload. Person Specification Qualifications Educated to GCSE level or equivalent NVQ level 2 Customer Service / Business Admin / ITQ or equivalent experience Use of computerised systems for ordering Experience Experience of working in a busy office environment or reception role Experience of prioritising, planning and organising own tasks Working with guidelines Experience of customer service or dealing with the public Experience of IT packages - Microsoft Office Experience of working in the NHS Experience of call handling Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations Knowledge Understanding of confidentiality and data protection Understanding of customer service Knowledge of Trust information systems Knowledge of Medical Terminology Skills Ability to work as part of a team Good communication skills including telephone, email and face to face Ability to follow processes and procedures High level of ability to organise and manage own time keeping to schedule and deadlines Good organisational skills Ability to meet deadlines Willing to take on/learn new skills Ability to show attention to detail and accuracy Ability to adapt to change Ability to work under pressure Ability to store and safeguard confidential documents Additional Requirements The ability to understand and behave at all times, towards patients, visitors and colleagues according to the Trust values of Safe, Kind, Excellent.
