Overview Program Manager – Cyber Security Uplift About the job We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead the transformative Cyber Security Uplift Program. This dynamic role is crucial for driving the organizational strategy to enhance cyber resilience while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight and ensure initiatives are seamlessly executed, gaining commitment from diverse stakeholders and fostering a culture of security awareness. Role and Responsibilities As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the program, overseeing multiple security initiatives that bolster the organization’s defenses against cyber threats. You will work with cross-functional teams to align the program\'s goals with strategic priorities and manage significant budgets to ensure optimal deployment of resources. This role requires leadership and communication skills to navigate complex program environments and drive measurable results. Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing complex cyber security or ICT uplift programs in large organizations. Strong knowledge of contemporary cyber security frameworks including NIST CSF 2.0, Essential Eight, and CIS standards. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management across technical and executive levels. Proficiency in managing multi-year budgets and vendor relationships in cross-functional environments. Experience in public sector or higher education environments. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Strong analytical skills for measurement and reporting of program performance. Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field. 7+ years of experience in program or project management with a focus on cyber security. Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or Agile methodologies are a plus. Other Requirements Willingness to travel as required for stakeholder engagement.
