The role of Industrial spray painter covers a wide range of tasks at CVPC starting from preparation and powder application all the way through to packing. Responsibilities Check and inspect jobs prior to sandblasting Operation of sandblasting equipment to prepare steel substrate jobs to a minimum of class 2.5 Working in a sandblasting chamber with air fed blast helmet and suit Maintain blasting machinery and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition Ensure operational areas are left in a clean and safe manner, including staff amenities and carpark Clearly labelling of jobs after completion Maintaining operations to keep up with oven production loads Working in accordance with company's policies and procedures Other duties as required Skills and Experience CVPC requires employees with at least 5 years of sandblasting experience Experience in equipment maintenance and breakdown rectification is mandatory The ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications CVPC has developed and takes pride in its highly diversified team with people from Africa, South Asia and southeast Asia. The ability to work in and embrace a diverse team is mandatory. Drivers License Random drug and alcohol testing Permitted to work permanently with no restrictions on hours Work Hours This is a full-time position however working in line with changing customers requirements there is often the need to chance and adjust working shift schedules as per below, this ability is mandatory #J-18808-Ljbffr
