Painter Blaster – Permanent/Casual Location: Welshpool, Western Australia Employment type: Full-time (permanent or casual) Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Job function: Industrial spray painting and abrasive blasting We are searching for experienced Painter Blasters, looking to either engage on a permanent or casual basis. This will be a role at our Welshpool facility. MINPROVISE is a total solutions provider supporting the mining, oil & gas, infrastructure & construction industries. About The Opportunity Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful candidate will be required to undertake industrial spray painting and abrasive blasting operations. Responsibilities Administer paint coatings to structural and mining equipment, such as pipes, structural steel, dump trucks and crushers Complete works to a high standard Maintain and encourage productivity between yourself and the team Be conscious of health and safety requirements Qualifications, Skills and Experience 2+ years of workshop-based experience in abrasive blasting and spray painting Trade qualifications in painting and/or blasting (desirable) Current and valid Australian driver’s licence High-risk work licence is highly advantageous (Forklift) Able to spray to specification thickness Competent in operating and troubleshooting Airless and Conventional spray painting systems As part of the recruitment process you may be required to complete pre-employment screening including but not limited to a Medical and Working Rights Check.
