HSEQ Advisor – Lead Safety, Quality & Culture in a Growing Communications & Power Business Join a well-established, fast-growing company at the forefront of the Communications and Power industry. We’re looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to drive our Integrated Management System, elevate safety culture and provide leadership across all operational levels. About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, the HSEQ Advisor is responsible for the effective management, maintenance and continual improvement of our Occupational Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental systems. You will ensure our Integrated Management System meets AS/NZS 45001, ISO 9001 and AS/NZS ISO 14001 requirements, while driving a positive HSEQ culture across all departments. Key Responsibilities Maintain, manage and improve the organisation’s Integrated Management System (HSEQ). Report on IMS performance and recommend opportunities for improvement. Provide expert advice on all HSEQ matters to personnel across the organisation. Deliver coaching, mentoring and HSE support at all levels. Conduct HSEQ inductions for all employees. Develop, implement and control HSEQ documentation (company and project level). Lead the creation of SWMS, JSEAs, Risk Registers, CRAWs and other risk assessment tools. Facilitate daily prestarts, toolbox meetings and committee meetings. Promote and embed a positive HSEQ culture. Undertake corporate and site inspections, internal audits and prepare for external audits. Manage incident reporting, investigation and close‑out of corrective actions. Conduct subcontractor audits and approvals. Prepare HSEQ performance reports. Maintain SDS and hazardous substances registers. Perform additional HSEQ duties as required. About You Mandatory Qualifications Certificate IV in OHS with experience in the construction industry. Preferred (Not Essential) Diploma of OHS Cert IV TAE Experience & Skills Minimum 7 years’ experience in HSEQ roles. Strong understanding of mining, power, communications and fabrication sectors. Highly proficient in MS Word and MS Excel. Ready to Lead, Influence and Make a Significant Impact?
