We facilitate the connections that propel people and organizations to find new possibilities to move forward.We are looking for Commodities Sales Specialist to join us in Sydney As an expert in commodities and energy, you will be in charge of commodities data solutions in various business / customer segments, including decarbonisation, power & energy, shipping, soft commodities and metal and more. As a subject matter and industry expert to sales and pursuit activities, you will focus on sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) of Commodity Solutions to key clients in Pacific. This role works in close partnership with internal stakeholders to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.**How You’ll be Successful:*** Structure, negotiate and close deals in Commodities segment.* Proactively identify and build pipeline opportunities.* Develop the sales strategy for Commodities business within their territory.* Build valuable connections within the client organization, using networks to facilitate introductions and unlock previously inaccessible opportunities.* Conducts high-efficiency, high-output prospecting; collaborates efficiently with lead-gen, account management, and other colleagues ensuring constant coverage of expansion opportunities and participation in customer life-cycle framework.* Excels in advancing opportunities through sales stages; exceeding close rate expectations by anticipating obstacles and late-stage delays, preventing them from interrupting sales.* Provide insights and share LSEG Commodities thought leadership with customers.* Deliver customer demonstrations of LSEG Workspace, LSEG Point Connect and LSEG Data Management System (LDMS)* Deliver sales target monthly.* Handles administrative requests such as proposals, benchmark calculators and salesforce related tasks to progress against sales goals at pace and with efficiency.**Qualifications and Experience Required*** Commodities market understanding and 3-5 industry experience.* World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”.
