Contact position: People and Culture Business Partner Practice name: South Melbourne Medical Hub Location: South Melbourne Phone: Hours: Full Time The Role Manage the day‑to‑day running of the clinic with warmth and professionalism Support and grow a positive team culture where staff feel supported and inspired Drive growth and continue to develop the clinic as a thriving health destination with a strong team around it. Assist with doctor recruitment and onboarding to build a strong clinical team Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards and safe clinical practices Ensure patients enjoy an excellent experience each time they visit About You We’re looking for someone who is not just experienced, but also passionate about people and community. We'll support you To thrive in this role, you’ll bring: Excellent communication skills Leadership skills that inspire trust, teamwork, and positivity A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to challenges Strong organisational skills and a knack for building smooth systems Confident managing practice finances and familiar with Medicare billing and accreditation processes A genuine passion for helping clinics, and the people in them, to flourish Qualifications Previous experience managing and developing GP clinics (essential) Proven ability to manage small business/office including human resources, planning, budgeting & reporting (minimum of two years’ experience in this role) Financial literacy Strong computer literacy and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and Excel The ability to communicate with a range of people Previous experience with practice accreditation Completion of an accredited bookkeeping course and/or knowledge of Xero software CPR/Triage training within the past 3 years or willingness to participate in training Knowledge in appointment scheduling, record management and clinic management software (Best Practice) Previous experience with AutoMed, Cubiko, Tanda Time & Attendance software Accredited training in business or medical practice management/ knowledge of medical terminology Member of AAPM About the practice We are a small network of clinics built on strong values of community, care, and connection.
