Practice Manager – SA Psychology & Wellness Permanent Part-Time | 32 hours per week | $40-$45 per hour Locations: 208 Military Road & 63 Cudmore Terrace, Henley Beach 5022 Lead with Empathy. About the Role This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where you’ll help the practice run like clockwork. As our Practice Manager, you’ll oversee operations, support our admin and clinical teams, and make sure everything behind the scenes is running smoothly so our clinicians can focus on what they do best – helping clients. You’ll report directly to the Director and play a key role in our leadership team. Your Day‑to‑Day will Include: Overseeing daily operations across our Henley Beach locations. Supporting, mentoring, and leading our admin team with warmth and accountability. Managing HR tasks including contracts, timesheets, payroll approvals, leave, and reviews. Overseeing financial admin, vendor payments, and clinician disbursements. Working alongside the Director on strategy, compliance, and key projects. Reviewing and refining policies, procedures, and operational systems. Handling recruitment, onboarding, and training for new staff. Coordinating facilities and maintenance. Promoting teamwork, communication, and continuous improvements across the practice. Who We’re Looking For We’re after someone who brings both professional strength and a people‑first mindset. What You’ll Bring: A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Business, Health Administration or similar. Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a leadership/operations role (healthcare preferred). Tech confidence with familiarity with Zanda, Zoho Suite, Microsoft Office and Quickbooks. Great communication and emotional intelligence. A proactive, can‑do attitude with excellent organisation and problem‑solving skills. A genuine interest in learning every part of the business to better support the team.
