All Ears & Speech and Little Allied Health are on the lookout for a Practice Manager who can keep the wheels turning smoothly while bringing warmth, humour, and heart to our busy paediatric and family‑centred allied health practice. You’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operations across our clinics, support a brilliant team of clinicians and clinical support officers (CSOs), and help us deliver exceptional hearing and communication healthcare for children, young people, and their families. The role This is a hands‑on leadership role where no two days look the same. You will: Lead, coach, and support our CSO team – the friendly faces (and voices) of our practice. Oversee daily operations, including phones, bookings, recalls, payments, client documentation, stock, and clinic presentation. Manage financial processes, including accounts receivable/payable, daily reconciliations, third‑party payments, and reporting on key indicators. Template and manage clinician calendars in PracSuite to achieve strong clinical utilisation across all sites. Work closely with our Business Manager to refine systems, support compliance (Medicare Benefit Scheme, Hearing Services Program, National Disability Insurance Scheme), and respond to feedback and complaints with care. Support WHS, property maintenance, contractors, and ensure our clinics feel safe, welcoming, and on‑brand. Help with onboarding new team members and contribute to social media and marketing activities. About you You’re a people person with a knack for getting things done, staying calm, and bringing others along for the ride. You enjoy a fast‑paced environment, love improving systems, and take pride in delivering a great client and team experience. You’ll shine in this role if you have: Experience in a practice administration or similar operations role (allied health or medical ideal). Experience with financial processes, reporting, and using practice or accounting software. Strong leadership and teamwork skills – you know how to support, encourage, and hold a team to high standards. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Confidence in juggling priorities, setting timelines, and staying organised. An understanding of medical/allied health terminology and key programs such as MBS, HSP, and NDIS (or a willingness to learn fast). A commitment to professional development, cultural safety, inclusion, and living the values of the organisation. Bonus points for: Experience in allied health, especially with deaf or hard‑of‑hearing clients. HR, engagement, or client services experience. Auslan skills, PracSuite knowledge, or training such as WHS, first aid, or fire warden.
