Position Summary Rimini Street is recruiting a senior Sales Leader with a proven record of driving significant revenue growth across multiple verticals and strong experience management. The VP, Sales will lead several sales team leaders and be responsible for achieving Rimini Street’s aggressive sales goals in the ANZ market. This role is ideally based in Sydney or Melbourne and reports directly to the ANZ General Manager. The VP will receive support from Sales Operations, Field Marketing, Pre‑Sales, and other key stakeholders. The VP will play a critical role in driving predictable growth, building high‑performing teams, and reinforcing Rimini Street’s leadership position in enterprise software support and services. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building new markets and leading ANZ‑based teams for high‑growth software or software‑related services companies. Candidates should be charismatic executives with an entrepreneurial spirit, experienced in “hunting” and opening new accounts, and have a proven track record of managing teams that consistently exceed quota. Experience selling ERP solutions for SAP and Oracle and strong connections in those ecosystems are highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Drive demand generation initiatives to ensure a minimum 4X pipeline coverage at the start of each quarter, enabling consistent overachievement of sales targets. Implement and monitor sales linearity targets (M1 20%, M2 30%, M3 50%) to drive predictable revenue flow and disciplined pipeline management. Achieve and exceed quota targets every quarter through effective leadership and execution. Prepare and deliver accurate weekly forecasts to the Theater GM, leveraging CRM analytics for data‑driven decisions. Recruit, train, and develop high‑performing sales leaders and teams. Partner with Enablement to achieve high participation rates in sales training and development programs, ensuring teams are equipped with the latest tools, messaging, and competitive insights. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration across all sales functions. Spend significant time in the field with team leaders and top sellers, coaching and supporting deal development and closure. Strategic Sales Execution Collaborate with the Leadership Team to define sales strategy, territory prioritisation, and growth objectives. Guide prospects through Rimini Street’s solution using a consultative, solution‑selling approach. Ensure all sales activities are current and tracked in Salesforce.com and Clari for visibility and accuracy. Market Expansion & Brand Representation Represent Rimini Street at regional CIO and Analyst conferences, building brand awareness and credibility. Drive new account acquisition through proactive prospecting, cold‑calling, and relationship development. Operational Excellence & Culture Reinforce Rimini Street’s unique culture of innovation, collaboration, and client‑centricity. Lead by example, demonstrating adaptability, strong time management, and a willingness to engage in all aspects of the business. Additional Duties Travel as needed for client meetings, team engagement, and industry events. Other job‑related responsibilities as assigned. Professional Experience Extensive experience selling enterprise software and services, including building new markets or businesses in start‑up or global enterprise environments. Proven success in VP‑level or equivalent roles with a track record of driving strong sales results against aggressive targets. Experience managing teams of quota‑bearing sales reps across multiple territories, with a focus on large enterprise accounts. Proven success in team‑selling environments and opening new accounts through proactive prospecting. Familiarity with SAP and Oracle ecosystems strongly preferred. Skills & Qualifications Strong sales management fundamentals, including solution selling, team selling, and CRM proficiency (Salesforce.com, Clari). Ability to forecast accurately and manage pipeline predictability. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams. Strong organisational and time management skills; proven ability to deliver results on time. Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
