Senior Associate, Business Lending Finance Join to apply for the Senior Associate, Business Lending Finance role at NAB . In the role of Senior Associate, Business Lending Finance , you will join a team that’s doubling down on making a tangible difference to customers while keeping it simple. Responsibilities Produce high‑quality, insightful management reporting and performance updates to support business decision‑making across our business lending products. Work with senior stakeholders to provide commercial financial insights and analysis that drive and improve business performance, including performance, budgeting/planning, forecasting, and financial reporting/control. Drive continuous process improvement in our reporting. Support and align with the NAB Finance Strategy to modernise Finance and seek opportunities to drive simplification and process efficiencies. Assess, analyse, and investigate aspects of the Division’s Finance Performance (lending volumes, net interest margin, fee income, credit impairment charges & ROE), including understanding variances to the business plan/forecast to ensure accurate reporting and the production of business financial insight for potential drivers of variances. Provide detailed financial analysis using data analytical skills to enable the provision of commercial and financial advice on both strategic and operational initiatives. Maintain strong balance‑sheet control and understanding through the review and sign‑off of balance‑sheet reconciliations, ensuring aged balances are cleared and reconciliation breaks are clearly understood. Support half‑year and year‑end reporting periods and disclosures. Qualifications 3–4 years’ experience in a finance partnering or FP&A role within financial services, preferably in a revenue‑generating unit setting within banking. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including producing reporting for senior management. Proven ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in SAP and Hyperion Finance Management systems preferred. Experience and familiarity with advanced Excel functions (e.g. Power Query) and visualisation tools (e.g. think‑cell) an advantage. Analysis and problem‑solving skills. Ability to drive commercial insights. Strong drive to deliver results and instil trust.CA/CPA qualified.
