We are a small family owned Long Daycare Centre with 30+ children per day, that has been serving the local community of Newcastle and its surrounding suburbs for over 30 years. We are looking for a motivated Nominated Supervisor / Centre Director who can continue to build on our successful service and lead our wonderful Educator team. Generous Annual Performance Bonuses Significant staff discount on childcare fees Onsite Parking Regular team building activities and benefits Personal Development opportunities Government Wage Retention Payments Requirements Hold a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent) or Diploma qualified working towards ECT Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education and care setting. Comprehensive understanding of the National Quality Framework. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills. Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff. Ability to program and provide high quality programs for all children. Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff members. Tasks & Responsibilities Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff, and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children. Develop and contribute to the educational program to provide a high-quality program for all children. Assist with the smooth running of the Centre in line with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Oversee the Centre’s presentation both internally and externally. Promote and market the service to increase utilisation, viability and manage the centre waiting list.
