The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be the primary employment law advisor for the Australian business. You will partner closely with HR and business leaders on a broad range of employee‑related matters, playing a key role in enabling safe, fair and high‑performing workplaces. Responsibilities Provide clear, commercially focused advice on employment law, employee relations and workplace issues. Partner with HR and business leaders on investigations, performance, safety and conduct matters. Manage external counsel and represent the business in interactions with workplace regulators. Support enterprise bargaining and broader industrial relations initiatives. Deliver training and promote risk awareness across the associate lifecycle. Requirements Law degree (or equivalent) with an Australian Practising Certificate (or eligibility). Significant post‑qualification experience (as a guide, 5+ years) in employment and labour law. Demonstrated experience in workplace investigations, Fair Work matters and employee relations. Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and pragmatically to non‑legal stakeholders. Comfortable managing day‑to‑day ER issues while also supporting senior leaders on strategic workforce initiatives.
