Rehabilitation Consultant Acumen Health, part of the APM Group, is an expert in workplace health, injury management and safety. Our team focuses on recovery and function, helping clients return to work and life regardless of age, stage, or situation. We deliver services across personal injury and occupational health, including federal and state‑based Workers’ Compensation, Motor Accident Schemes and Life Insurance. Unique to our organization, we are the only rehabilitation service provider to Australian Defence Force personnel. By working with military and veterans, you’ll make a meaningful impact on those who protect and defend Australia. In This Role You Will Take a holistic care approach, working within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing Perform a variety of assessments including Activities of Daily Living, Ergonomic, Worksite and Vocational Assessments Collaborate with stakeholders—employees, medical specialists, and other treatment providers—to coordinate comprehensive care Support our Veterans and current ADF members across ADF and DVA portfolios Travel as required; locations may vary between the Acumen office and client sites What’s In It For You We’ll work with you to tailor a career pathway that meets your goals, offering a variety of working models and a supportive onboarding process with ongoing shadowing. What Will Make You Successful Hold a degree in Psychology (Masters), Occupational Therapy, or Rehabilitation Counselling (Masters) Be eligible for professional registration with AHPRA or ASORC upon graduation Graduate in 2025 Agree to a pre‑employment national criminal check before employment Hold Australian citizenship due to security clearance requirements Hold a full driver’s licence, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance Be located in or accessible to North Sydney, NSW About Acumen Acumen Health is passionate about delivering high‑quality services that improve lives.
