National Client Manager Position can be based in any of the following locations - Sydney, Melbourne OR Brisbane We are seeking a highly motivated National Manager for our People Solutions team. We are looking for a well-connected and respected industry leader at a national level within the workers compensation and people solutions industry. Reporting to the Head of Client & Market Management, the successful candidate will be expected to build and manage a large national client portfolio, leveraging existing relationships within the insurance industry and distribution partners, to deliver a profitable business unit contributing to the overall growth of Lockton Australia and regional areas. What will you be doing? Actively manage and develop a portfolio of business with a particular emphasis on profitable growth, providing professional standards and consistency of advice. Developing positive relationships with clients. Ensuring service delivery in line with agreements and identification of new business prospects or cross sell opportunities. Networking and relationship development activities with insurers, client groups, and professional associations. Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure their insurance and risk management needs are fully met. Review of insurer strategy claims estimation quantum, recovery claims potential, common law liability and claims management service standards and provide advice as required, in the interest of the client. Provide advice on recommended workers' compensation claim lump sum settlements or redemptions. Provide premium, forecasting and reporting support to client and providing insight into performance. Processing client accounts and billing. Tender submissions. Management and leadership of staff within your department. Provide a high standard of work and business ethics, setting the standard within People Solutions. To be successful in this role, you will need: Be capable of following directions and working collaboratively with others, while also being self-motivated and able to manage own workload. Be able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written). Have a high level of attention to detail, quality standards and compliance. Be responsive to the changing needs of the team, office and business, and to any issues that arise. Have a strong ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to pitch in. You will need the following experience and qualifications: Relevant Allied Health Diploma AND / OR Undergraduate Degree Extensive Workers Compensation experience (10+ years) Moderate to high level of proficiency in MS Office.
