Walks & Chats with a Senior Arabic Volunteer in THORNBURY We are seeking an Arabic-speaking female to make regular visits to a lonely older lady in Thornbury. Visits may involve chatting, going for a walk, listening to music, or playing a game. Visits are typically 1 hour. The role will adapt to suit you and the person you visit. No experience necessary - you just need be kind, empathetic and reliable. If you're seeking a rewarding, flexible volunteer role, we'd love to discuss this opportunity further with you. If you're a little unsure, please get in touch - there's no harm in exploring The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus. MS Plus is a child safe organisation with a Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy. Category Community Services Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required One-hour visits, at least once a fortnight, any day of the week.
