Finance Manager – Solar and Renewable Energy Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Salary: A$140,000 – A$150,000 per annum Responsibilities Manage the commercial negotiations and support the structuring of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), virtual tolling, revenue swaps or other forms of offtake agreements for solar, BESS, hybrid and wind assets. Manage participation in federal or state level competitive tender processes, including CIS, LTESA, RCM tenders. Structure project financing or preferred financing solutions for assets and manage competitive financing processes from RfP stage to Financial Close. Collaborate closely with internal workstreams – business development, legal, finance, technical and project sales – to ensure bankable solutions. Contribute to refinement of corporate growth strategies, market analysis, and new business initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics (or CFA equivalent). Minimum 5+ years’ experience in PPA, project financing, or related commercial role within renewable energy or utilities sector. Deep understanding of WEM and NEM markets. Proven experience with power purchase agreements and renewable project financing in Australia. Strong commercial and financial acumen with track record of managing complex transactions. Excellent stakeholder management, teamwork, analytical, and communication skills. Proactive, collaborative, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Familiarity with sector‑specific frameworks (CA, EPC and O&M contracts). Experience in financial modelling, valuation, and credit analysis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
