Operational Support Officer Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria – Melbourne, Victoria, Australia About This Role Utilise your administrative expertise to provide support and advice to Corrections Victoria at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre. Ongoing, full‑time opportunity within a high‑performing, passionate team in the Victorian Public Service. Salary: VPS Grade 3 – $79,122 – $96,073 plus superannuation. About The Business Unit The Corrections and Justice Services (CJS) group, comprising Corrections Victoria (CV), Justice Health and Justice Services, plays an integral role in developing safer, more resilient communities and delivering a trusted justice and community safety system. The Role The Operational Support Coordinator is a key role within the Operations Manager’s office at the DPFC, responsible for preparing correspondence, collating documents, advising on high‑level briefings, and assisting the Executive Team with monthly reporting. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality confidential support to the Senior Operations Manager, including diary, email, and telephone management. Investigate and handle various information on behalf of the Senior Operations Manager, maintaining privacy and confidentiality. Assess, prioritise and coordinate incoming correspondence, ensuring necessary follow‑up action. Perform other duties as required, including direct prisoner contact; work Monday‑to‑Friday, with no shift, weekend or public holiday work. Qualifications Well‑developed computer literacy. Good knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations. Demonstrated experience in office administration.
