Student Services Officer Full-time, ongoing, commence immediately or by negotiation. Northshore Christian Grammar School (NCGS), a growing K–12 school located in the coastal suburb of Alkimos, is part of the Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA). We are seeking a passionate and hospitable student Services Officer to join our growing team on a full‑time, ongoing position, to start immediately or at a negotiated time. The successful applicant will help maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative school environment by communicating effectively, supporting colleagues, and managing situations with calmness and care. You will carry out key Student Services duties—including attendance, first aid, parent communication, and general administration—to ensure smooth and efficient daily school operations. Key Responsibilities Respond to phone calls, emails, and parent enquiries while keeping the Student Services area tidy, organised, and welcoming. Manage daily operational tasks such as attendance processing, message forwarding, iPad checks, lost property, and new‑student setup. Provide first aid, maintain medical records, notify parents as required, and ensure all medical supplies and sick bay facilities are well‑managed. Monitor and reconcile student attendance, follow up unresolved absences, send SMS notifications, and prepare attendance reports. Support administrative functions including enrolment updates, stationery orders, emergency drill responsibilities, and other duties requested by senior staff. Complete holiday tasks such as updating medical lists, refreshing displays, maintaining records, checking lost property, restocking first aid kits, and assisting other support staff. To have a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and be an active member of the Christian community. To read and accept the Association’s Statement of Faith, Foundational Statements of Belief and Educational Objectives and to have a lifestyle consistent with these statements. Excellent communication and presentation skills. High level of IT literacy. Effective organisational skills. Ability to collaborate with co‑workers and the community. Desirable Qualifications To have appropriate qualifications in the advertised area – TAFE/Business College. Experience in a school office environment.
