Better Living Maintenance - Part of the Better Living Group of Companies, requires the skills of an experienced Construction Industry Professional to take the lead on Estimating and Quoting for our newly acquired Property, Repair and Maintenance clients across Melbourne. Recent contract wins and major client acquisition will mean that 2026 is a very signficant year. We need to put all of the right people and processes now, to ensure the best possible outcomes. Your primary role would be to Scope and Quote jobs for residential homes across Melbourne in the Repairs & Maintenance Sector. The jobs are generally “smaller” in size, however still require that meticulous attention to detail that can only come from someone with an adequate understanding of trades and best practice. You may be required, from time to time, to work alongside Building Engineers, on our larger scale remediation projects. This is not a difficult job, but it is a very busy, fast paced and demanding environment. No two days are the same, with a wide and varied range of jobs, from paint, plaster, fencing, minor renovations and even bathroom and kitchen makeovers, floor replacement and structural defect assessment. You would be expected to have experience and knowledge in all of these areas. Occasionally you may be "called in" to part take in some major project builds and tender submissions. Trade certifications or licences, even if not current would be a good reflection of your capabilities and experiences, although, not essential. You would scope, assess and quote for jobs and then be the liaison piece between our clients, our head office call centre and our technical team which is responsible for final job delivery to the end user.
