Department of Education WA – Ellenbrook WA This is a permanent part-time (0.9FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026 Aveley Secondary College (SC) opened in 2018 and is a large secondary school catering for Year 7-12 in Perth’s Swan Valley. The Role Aveley SC is seeking an experienced, dedicated and proactive School Psychologist to join our highly collaborative and student-focused team. The successful applicant will work closely with the College Leadership Team and sub-school teams to support the wellbeing, engagement, and educational outcomes of all students. The School Psychologist provides specialist psychological expertise to assess, case formulate, and develop targeted interventions that address the needs of individual students, groups, and the broader school community. This includes delivering services in adolescent mental health, behaviour and engagement, wellbeing for learning, emergency incident response, and professional learning for staff, parents, and caregivers. We are seeking an adaptable, resourceful, and resilient practitioner who can build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. The successful applicant will be able to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to well‑established college priorities such as the Learning Support Team, Attendance Team, and Student Services case management processes.
