The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to establish, implement and lead our Program Management Office (PMO). This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for driving project delivery maturity across the organisation and ensuring alignment with our corporate objectives. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and continuously mature a centralised PMO, including its vision, operating model and strategic roadmap. Develop and embed project management frameworks, governance structures and best practices across the organisation. Provide strategic oversight of major corporate projects, including capital works, IT transformations and high‑profile activations. Monitor and report on project performance, risks and benefits realisation to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board. Drive proactive risk management and issue resolution across the project portfolio. Influence resource planning and allocation in collaboration with senior leaders. Build organisational capability in project management through mentorship and training. Champion stakeholder engagement and transparent communication. Identify and implement project management tools and technologies to enhance delivery effectiveness. About You The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate: Proven experience establishing and leading a PMO in a complex environment, ideally within the public sector or large multi‑faced organisation. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and their practical application. Demonstrated success in overseeing diverse, high‑value projects and aligning them with strategic objectives. Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders and foster collaboration without direct authority. Skilled in risk management, governance design and strategic problem‑solving. Excellent communication and reporting skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership and Boards. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment and drive cultural change.
