Temporary Customer Service Officer - Export BOORTMALT is a multinational organisation owned by the French cooperative AXEREAL. With over 27 production facilities worldwide, Boortmalt is one of the largest malting producers in the world. Our mission is to be the best innovative malt supplier, producing quality malts in benchmark maltings. We have a great opportunity for an individual to gain valuable experience in our dynamic business, based in the Southbank precinct in Melbourne. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader this TEMPORARY role will see you interacting with, and providing superior customer service to our customers within the APAC beverage industry. About you Suited to someone who enjoys a rapid pace and liaising with stakeholders, you will likely have experience in shipping and exports, preferably bulk vessels. Working perhaps in the grain, food manufacturing, bulk logistics and/or export management sectors, you will be an empathetic and customer focused professional who is able to demonstrate: Qualifications & experience A record of success in customer service or commercial sales; Strong team orientation; SAP skills and knowledge; Strong verbal and written communication skills. Tasks & responsibilities Maintain customer accounts by recording account information; Manage sales contract drawdowns preferably within the contract period as well as future forecasts; Build sustainable relationships of trust with customers; Provide knowledge and answers around product, pricing and availability, including shipping inquiries and orders status; Ensure that processes for export documentation are adhered to; Support continuous improvement around systems and processes to drive efficiency and high-level customer satisfaction.
