Transaction Banking supports our Commercial Banking Teams ($3m - $150m turnover businesses), providing fresh thinking and expertise in key critical areas of our clients’ businesses. Your role will align to commercial business centres in the Brisbane CBD. Do work that matters Your length and depth of experience in this segment will see you pursue new business opportunities across multiple transaction banking solutions (including Cash Management, Online Banking Platform: CommBiz, Merchant Solutions: Terminals and eCommerce, BPAY, Direct Debit, Corporate Cards and Partnerships) with all Business Banking clients with turnover greater than $3m. Developing close working relationships with key clients of varying complexity and your internal stakeholders, you will use your ability to understand business requirements to provide innovative transaction banking solutions that help them grow and thrive. More specifically, you will Have a deep understanding of our transaction banking product offerings Proactively build a pipeline of new and existing transaction banking opportunities Engage with relationship teams to review transaction banking performance and initiatives Provide support, coaching and education to bankers Consistently seek client feedback with a focus on improvement and the pursuit of excellence Continue to build a profile and presence on behalf of the Commonwealth Bank in Transaction Banking What are we looking for? You are an excellent communicator – you have the ability to distil complex requirements down to simple solutions to surprise and delight your clientele You’re someone that is passionate about networking and hunting new business opportunities Success in this role will come from a background in customer service, sales & business development and are prepared to develop a solid understanding of the transaction banking product suite You work with pace – managing and delivering on multiple priorities and projects with efficiency and accuracy To help us deliver a better future, you will have A successful track record of driving increased business with complex and large commercial/corporate clients (experience presenting to C‑Suite will be highly regarded) A well‑developed local network, commercial sales acumen and forward‑thinking ideas Strong negotiation skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client service Motivation, accountability and the ability to build lasting business relationships Curiosity to get to know your clients' business objectives to deliver timely and professional solutions This is an outstanding opportunity to continue to build your brand and your career in a growing and successful business.
