At Hurex Trade , we specialise in exporting premium Australian food and beverage products to overseas markets. With a focus on high‑quality products and genuine relationships, we work closely with both suppliers and international buyers to bring Australia's best to the world. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Export Officer to join our team. You’ll be working alongside our current Export Officer to support the full export process — from early‑stage buyer engagement through to order documentation — helping us deliver exceptional service every step of the way. What You’ll Do Customer & Supplier Coordination Support communication with international buyers and domestic suppliers during the product introduction and sampling phase. Product Launch Support Assist in preparing product specs, pricing sheets, and follow‑up materials when presenting new products to potential customers. Order Management Process purchase orders and follow through with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure orders are executed smoothly. Export Documentation Prepare and manage export‑related paperwork including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Problem Solving Troubleshoot issues that arise during the pre‑order or order fulfillment phase, keeping clients informed and satisfied. Administrative Support Maintain tracking spreadsheets, update customer files, and provide day‑to‑day support to ensure the team runs smoothly. What We’re Looking For 1–3 years’ experience in export operations, international sales admin, or customer service (experience in food/FMCG is a plus). Strong written and verbal communication skills — clear, professional email writing is a must. High attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and a proactive mindset. Familiarity with export documentation or international trading concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). A genuine interest in food exports and doing meaningful work across global markets. Bonus: Asian cultural familiarity is a plus (but not required). Why Join Hurex Trade?
