Executive Manager - Business Development We are a privately owned engineering services and industrial solutions business with a strong footprint across Queensland. Our work spans design and engineering, fabrication, electrical and controls integration, and on site commissioning and maintenance. We partner with operators across energy, resources, water and industrial markets to deliver practical, fit for purpose infrastructure and equipment solutions. With a growing pipeline of projects and a reputation for technical quality and reliability, we are investing in the next phase of our leadership capability. This role will own the commercial and growth agenda for the business. You will strengthen commercial discipline, lead the bid and tender process, shape value propositions with engineering and operations, and drive strategic customer engagement across Queensland and interstate markets. Base pay range A$230,000.00/yr - A$260,000.00/yr Location Brisbane Key responsibilities Develop and execute the commercial and growth strategy for the organisation Identify, qualify and prioritise opportunities across core and adjacent markets Lead bid development, tender submissions, pricing models and commercial negotiation Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers at senior levels Oversee contracting frameworks, risk allocation, terms and commercial governance Monitor commercial performance across projects, including variations, claims and margin tracking Work closely with technical, operations, finance and HSE teams to ensure bids are deliverable About you Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, engineering or related field Strong experience in commercial leadership, business development or sales within resources, energy, industrial equipment or similar settings Proven track record winning and negotiating multimillion dollar contracts Deep understanding of project commercial models, pricing, risk and client procurement Strong financial acumen and the presence to engage credibly with senior client stakeholders Collaborative and down to earth style, able to work hand in glove with delivery teams Remuneration Indicative base salary $250,000 plus an annual incentive tied to growth, margin and customer metrics.
