Support Vehicles Australia – Bassendean WA Exciting Opportunity for a Procurement/Purchasing Officer at Support Vehicles Australia Support Vehicles Australia (SVA) is a leading design and manufacturing company specializing in the creation of custom heavy equipment for key clients, primarily in the mining industry across Western Australia. We are proud to deliver high-quality, bespoke solutions and are looking for a dedicated Procurement Officer to join our Supply Team in Bassendean. This full-time, permanent role offers secure employment with a respected industry leader, known for its innovation and excellence in producing cutting‑edge products. Reporting to the Supply Manager will be responsible for: Processing of Bill of Materials (BOM) Develop and maintain procurement work instructions, procedures and policies Develop and maintain vendor analysis to highlight potential cost savings Recognise internal process/system areas of improvement and work towards greater efficiency Liaise with engineering and production to ensure delivery of goods to meet project deadlines Actively seek alternate suppliers and competitive quotes Ad hoc support to warehouse (i.e., stocktakes) Other duties as assigned to suit operational requirements The Successful applicant will be able to display: Cert IV in Procurement, Supply Chain or Warehousing an advantage 5 Years Relevant Experience in a similar role Experience in Manufacturing role an advantage A high level of accuracy with numbers and an attention to detail Experience with ERP systems (Pronto is an advantage) Experience with MS Office Suite (including SharePoint) an advantage Experience working within a Quality Systems Environment (ISO 9001:2008) Great verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well within a team environment and a capacity to work unsupervised. Have great time management skills Have a positive attitude towards safety, quality and housekeeping What We Offer: A safe, supportive, and diverse working environment Competitive flat pay rate ranging from $37 - 40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Average of 38-43 hours per week, with an annual salary potential of approximately $70,000 – $90,000 (plus superannuation).
